[video] A Message From Jessica: Everyone Will Not “Get” You…and That’s OK!

jessica-simien

As I shared with you all not too long ago, I’ve been reading Deepak Chopra’s “7 Spiritual Laws of Success” in an effort to get my mind right and really change my mentality on things. I’ve since finished the book and I wanted to share more of what I’ve been reminded of.

I wanted to take some time and just talk about something that has bothered me for years. Thankfully, it no longer bothers me…I learned to deal with it and keep things moving. It wasn’t easy, but I did and you can too!

Watch my video and share your thoughts with me.

Jessica…..I can not begin to tell you how PROUD I am of you. I’ve watched you grow from a beautiful girl to a beautiful woman and I’m not speaking of your physical beauty (everybody can see that). I’m speaking of your INNER beauty that has always been so radiant. Your personality, your charm, your smile, your “attitude” was what stole my heart so many years ago that I decided to claim you as my “little girl” and I do thank Lisa for sharing you with me :-). But to see you today and how you have grown and matured simply makes me smile. I always knew you would do great things and I’m so excited about the things that WILL come from your professional journey in life. Always stay humble (as I know you will), stay prayerful and continue to be a blessing to others. Thank you for sharing a portion of your life with others and hopefully it will help someone along life’s journey. You know I am a Counselor by profession and I KNOW it can help others. It’s not for everyone and so many people look at therapy as a “taboo”….but for those who are willing to receive, it can be very beneficial. I am SOOOOOOO proud of you. I know I said that already, but I am and seeing your video did my heart good. I love you much and know I am one of your greatest cheerleaders. I know I don’t get to see or talk to you often, but know I am always here for you and I’ll always be on Jessica.Simien’s team today and forever :-) Be blessed…..

Kita! Now you know I’m emotional…this made my eyes tear up! Thank you so much for your support and kind words. I will remain humble and part of my goals (I have this written down, believe it or not) is to be a blessing to others everyday. So for you to see that lets me know I’m doing the right thing. I always get a little nervous to share my experiences and life with others but I know there is someone out there who can benefit from my story. Thank you so much for your support. I love you!
