‘Taken 2′ Dominates Box Office, Earning $50 Million Its Opening Weekend

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Liam Neeson’s ‘Taken 2′ earned $50 million in the U.S. and $55 million overseas its opening weekend. The sequel earned about $25 million more than the original did back in 2008. (Has it been that long?)

I got an opportunity to catch the movie last night (see pics below) and it was actually pretty good. There were a few “wow” moments and I sat in my seat hoping that there is a man in my life who is skilled and would go to the ends of the earth to protect and save me like Neeson did for his ex-wife and daughter.
