Kanye West Makes History With 17 BET Hip Hop Awards Nominations

Kanye West made BET Hip Hop Awards history by racking up a total of 17 nominations, which is the most time any artist has ever been nominated.   

2 Chainz is close behind with 13 nominations, followed by Drake with 11 nominations.

The awards show will be taped September 29 but will not air until Tuesday, October 9. I really hate that they don’t do a live show because all of the celebs and bloggers spoil the show for those who don’t get an opportunity to attend. If all goes well, I’ll be in attendance for the taping!

No performances have been confirmed yet, but Mike Epps will be hosting the show for the fourth consecutive time.
