First it was Anderson Cooper, then Frank Ocean, now it’s televangelist and Gospel recording artistJuanita Bynum admitting a sexual relationship with someone of the same sex.

These recent “coming out” stories and confessions have left me wondering if the public has some right to know what a person is doing in their own bedroom. Although Bynum did not announce that she was gay, she did reveal that she’d been with women during an interview with Atlanta‘s V-103 station.

Bynum was involved in a very public divorce with Pastor Thomas Weeks and was also criticized for “speaking in tongues” on Facebook.

What do you think of celebs detailing their private love lives? Is it necessary? Do we care?

  1. 1 John 1:9 ESV : If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” He “refers to GOD not man or people in the flesh. I PERSONALLY THINK THAT SOME THINGS SHOULD BE BETWEEN YOU AND YOUR GOD. I love everyone whether straight or gay…I am not the judge, therefore no-one should be condemned for past behaviors.

  2. This is becoming a bit much!! I really would rather not know. I know a lot of people view it as juicy gossip, but I’m so over it and wish that they would keep their business to themselves.

  3. Personally, I wouldn’t do it. I think that some things shouldn’t be exposed because it’s ok to have something in common w/ fans, but there is still a line that needs to be drawn. However, if that person is comfortable w/ it then so be it, but I wouldn’t expose all of my personal business…I would still want some type of privacy.
